When I started exhibiting at jade shows, I wanted to offer something accessible, yet different than what the other carvers were doing. It had to be artistic, unique and sculptural. After playing with several concepts, I came up with the idea of combining jade, mineralized and fossilized teeth and tusks, with silver accents. Here are some of my best pendants over the years, including my very first: the root of an old eyetooth fused with Siberian nephrite.
